Private Rented Sector Housing and Anti-Social Behaviour

We have received notification of a public meeting being held by the council for Residents and Tenants’ Organisations about implications arising from the growth of the private rented sector.  The council says:

"Ealing Council is looking to explore issues surrounding the growth in the private rented sector, property conditions and anti-social behaviour. We are holding a meeting where you can share your views with the Council and discuss the issues, and you would be welcome to attend.

Consultation on Betting Shops and Local Gambling Policies

Since we uploaded this story, we have learnt that the council's web team has taken down the consultation.  Pat Gilmore, Ealing Council’s Licensing Manager is very happy to receive emailed responses over the weekend.

Local Transport Plan Consultation

In September 2013 EFRA responded to Ealing Council’s consultation on its Transport Plan 2014-17.  Our response focused on:

West Ealing and Hanwell - Council proposals for changes along Uxbridge Road - Corridor 1c

During the last round of Ward Forum meetings, councillors unveiled designs for what they are calling Corridor 1c.  This the stretch of Uxbridge Road which runs from the River Brent to Northfield Avenue.

In response residents asked for a meeting to be held with council officers to fully explain the plans before they go out to public consultation.

The council has therefore arranged a meeting for members of the public to find out more:
