Motorbike Training: Update

For some time EFRA has been supporting residents in Belsize Avenue, Jefferson Close and Mayo Court suffering from noise from motorbike training in the Orion Park car park.

Following an appeal by the operator against planning enforcement action by Ealing Council, in May 2014 a Government Planning Inspector said that:

1) No motorcycle training shall take place outside of the building at any time.

Private Rented Sector Housing and Anti-Social Behaviour

We have received notification of a public meeting being held by the council for Residents and Tenants’ Organisations about implications arising from the growth of the private rented sector.  The council says:

"Ealing Council is looking to explore issues surrounding the growth in the private rented sector, property conditions and anti-social behaviour. We are holding a meeting where you can share your views with the Council and discuss the issues, and you would be welcome to attend.

Heathrow Airport Third Runway Consultation

Heathrow Airport is running a public consultation with a view to updating its proposals to the Airports Commission.  We have just learnt that there is to be an additional exhibition, in Ealing:

  • Monday 10 March 2014
  • 12:00 to 20:00
  • The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, 2-8 Hanger Lane  W5 3HN.

Heathrow Airport Third Runway Consultation

Heathrow Airport has added an additional exhibition to the series it is holding about its proposals to the Airports Commission for a third runway.  Further details are on Heathrow's website.

Heathrow Airport Expansion: Public Exhibition

Heathrow Airport is running a public consultation with a view to updating its proposals to the Airports Commission.  There is no event planned for Ealing and this one in Brentford is nearest.  For more information, including a complete list of venues, see Heathrow's website.
