Minutes of AGM 2012

EFRA held its annual general meeting on 31 May and the minutes are now available to view on the website.  Topics covered included a presentation by the Safer Neighbourhoods Team, reports from EFRA committee members about transport and planning issues affecting the area during the year and an open forum where members raised matters of local concern.

Submission on the landscaping of Bramley Road Open Space

In March EFRA submitted its comments to Ealing Council on the proposed landscaping of the Bramley Road Open Space.

Reasons to oppose the closure of Northfields library

Northfields Library is very well used by a wide range of local people.

The library is an integral part of the £2 million project to create a Children’s Centre incorporating the Log Cabin for children with disabilities, local Scouts and a nursery.

As it was refurbished at a cost of £610,000 in 2007, the library's closure would mean the expenditure was wasted.

The library is part of the overall plan for the adjacent Bramley Road Open Space, which is about to undergo a £200,000 re-development.
