Cranmer Avenue Snooker Hall Redevelopment

Earlier this year an application was made to redevelop the site of the snooker hall in Cranmer Avenue; the developer submitted plans for a three storey building of 5 or 6 flats on this small-sized plot. The proposed building will be taller than the existing building and will dominate the whole street.

EFRA believes that any redevelopment of this site should reflect the scale, height, design and building line of the other housing in this residential street, and has supported local residents in opposing the current application.

Although the application was rejected by Ealing Council in March, the developer has appealed to the Planning Inspectorate. EFRA has made a submission to the Planning Inspectorate which is attached.

The Inspector’s decision is expected later in the summer.
