Meet the Shedders (UK Mens Sheds Association)

The Mens Sheds Association is holding an event about the movement on 2 July.

It says "A Men's Shed is a workshop for making, mending and hobbies. Groups of retired men love them and have opened more than two a week in the UK in the last 6 months! If you could be interested in starting a Shed or know people who might, or if you are interested in supporting men's health and wellbeing, community development or skill sharing, then come along and hear from members why even more Sheds are needed."

Log Cabin Family Fun Day

The Log Cabin is holding a fund-raising event for all the family on 14 June 2015.  Activities will include -

  • zumba
  • singing
  • football beat the coach
  • rock'n'roll masterclass

Ward Forum

The next Northfield ward forum will be on 10 June at Mount Carmel School to discuss amongst other things policing and the 24-hour weekend running of the underground system scheduled to start on 12 September 2015.
