EFRA's Annual General Meeting

EFRA's AGM will be held on 22 May, starting at 19:30.  Please arrive from 19:10 to allow time to join or renew your membership.

Inspector Susan Hayward who is in charge of the Ealing 'cluster' (including our ward) will speak about the changes to local policing.  Our local councillors will also attend.

There will be a review of our activities during the year and an opportunity for residents to contribute their views or raise concerns.

Save Our Hospitals March and Rally

March and rally for the Save Our Hospitals campaign.  Meet at Southall Park at 11.30 am or Acton Park at 12.30 pm.    The rally on Ealing Common starts at 2 pm.

Reynard Mills Planning Appeal Result

The result of the Planning Inquiry into the proposed redevelopment of Reynard Mills was announced in March 2013.  The excellent news is that both the Secretary of State and the Planning Inspector endorsed Hounslow Council's refusal of the developer's second scheme for Reynard Mills.  While the Inspector was only asked to consider scheme two, many of the criticisms in his report could also apply to scheme three, the slightly smaller scheme which the developer submitted to Hounslow Council while the appeal on scheme two was in progress.

Free School Open Evening - two sessions

A group of local parents, concerned about the lack of secondary school spaces from 2016, is hoping to set up a free school in the area.  This open evening is for the community to find out more.  There will be two sessions, at 19:00 and at 20:30.  Visit their website for further information.

Heathrow Mega Rally

Rally organised by Zac Goldsmith MP to protest against Heathrow expansion.  Local politicians and Boris Johnson are expected to attend.
