Cranmer Avenue Snooker Hall latest application for redevelopment

The developer submitted a new application and in January EFRA responded.

EFRA sent a submission (2.5 MB) to the Planning Inspector.

The Inspector did not uphold the developer's appeal.

Orion Park: Bike Training Facility

Motorbike training continues to take place in the open areas of the Orion Park site.  The operator appealed against the council's latest planning enforcement notice to put a stop to the training which does not have planning approval.  The matter is back with the Planning Inspectorate again.  EFRA is working with local residents and councillors, and submitted a detailed statement to the Planning Inspectorate in January 2014, a summary of which you can see h

The council turned down the latest application to overdevelop this site.

The proposals were out of keeping with this residential side street and were equivalent to a householder constructing a two-storey extension in the front garden with full-height front windows and Juliet balconies facing directly into the houses on the opposite side of the street.
